Melanie's voice is so powerful and will blow you away. Her singing and Lane's rap work nicely together. "Be My Lover" by La Bouche is a very energetic dance song and La Bouche's most popular hit. Her voice is most strongest on this song. This CD is definatley good for a party or good for someone who just needs a boost of energy then this CD is it. The song is very catchy with the "La Da Da Dee Da Da Da Da." This is their most memorable song and the song most people are familiar with and have heard at least once. The Dance Mixes on "Wanna Be My Lover" are energetic and cool especially the "High Energy Mix" which is the fastest dance mix on this CD.

If you liked this song check out their CD "Sweet Dreams" as well. She had the best voice and the most powerful.hence the band's name (French for "The Mouth"). This song is up beat and dancefloor friendly. .is what this song is. Definatly Reccomended. Two great hits that had a different vibe then what was out there at the time: Euro Pop/Techno. I remember the days of La Bouche when the ruled the charts with Be My Lover and Sweet Dreams. Melanie Thornton however sadly passed away on November 24th, 2001 on her way to Munich when the plane crashed, killing nearly everyone on board.
